Nice work!
These are beautiful!!!
This Photos are amazing.
Nice pics! keep up the good work.
I would like to make a comment on the spelling tough. The picture of a shanty town in Medellin is from Colombia (the country) and not from Columbia.
From wikipedia:
"Columbia is the original name for the United States, popular in the eighteenth century, and its poetic nineteenth century female personification (see her as the girl symbolically representing the
United States on the screen at the start of Columbia Picture movies)."
"Columbia. It is also the name of the federal district of the United States, District of Columbia. It should not be confused with Colombia a nation in South America, which has a different spelling."
Anyway, thanks for all your good work
How about some high res versions of these? Kinda lame as they are right now...
I have been in Plaza Real (Barcelona) yesterday. It's a lot better from above. Thank you.
Your photos are the bomb. However, as a life-long Redskins game who has been there many times, I must say that:
It's called FedEx Field. Before it was renamed FedEx field it was named Jack Kent Cooke Stadium. It was never known as Washington Redskins Stadium. By the way, it's even bigger now than when the photo was taken, they added about 9000 seats.
You have an amazing eye, exellent work
Wow! Amazing photos. Thanks for letting us check them out. I especially like the shot of Ben Bulden. Never seen a rock formation like that.

Some of the most stunning work I've yet seen - incredible how nature seems so ordered at times. Love the red vans! If you have time, take a trip to my blog header (http://damien.propellerglobal.com) for an aerial shot of the Great Barrier Reef. I haven't had chance to set up my gallery yet.
great to stumble on!
Beautiful pics, and dont let the people criticizing your spelling or hi-res pics get to you. I was amazed by these beautiful pics and there is nothing to criticize, even if it's wrong spelling.

Outstanding and breathtakingly beautiful. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing your gift for all the world to see. Ignore those critical....They have nothing better to do if they can overlook the beauty and your talent in every shot and not be moved and touched. Some people do not feel good about themselves unless they are pulling down those doing good works. I will continue to check back to see more of your lovely photo's and share your website with family and friends. Thanks Jason!!!!
Hi,
It seems everyone is a critic these days. Your pix were great. I have never seen anything like the Gweebarra Bay in Ireland (it looked like chocolate soup). However, the picture of Arctic Wind Farm Havosaud and Barents Sea, Norway did not come through. As my husband is of Norwegian descent and has never been over there, could you please reproduce that photo (or at least email it to my e-address. Thank you, JoAnn
it was a fantastic collection made by u.each one in its aerial view is awesome.i really enjoyed it.
thank u,
soni
How unfortunate that Mr Hawkes wouldn't find anything else to take a photo of than a chanty town in such a fantastic country as Colombia. Let's use our creativity a little more and be more open minded. it is sad that even people such as Mr Hawkes can't find it in himself to brake the patern of going to these countries searching for porverty and human misery. I have been to Colombia and it is a magnificent counrtry with so much natural and human beauty and so much more to offer an artistic photografer that chanty towns.
these are great peices of work, they bring back happy memories so thank you xx
What a fantastic photos?

Hi Jason,
I agree with Barbara. Beside who needs to be able to spell with your talent? Jelousy is a curse and those who can not give credit where it's due will never be recognised in their own endevours. Thank you so much for sharing your gift with us all.
Fabulous photos - thank you for sharing them!
