Jason Hawkes' new aerial views of London.

I have been shooting new aerial photographs of much of London over the last few months and here you can see aerial photography of the newly pedestrianised Trafalgar Square, aerial views taken in January 2004 of the West End of London and the City ( Square Mile ) showing the Swiss re Tower

The roadworks at Trafalgar Square were part of the work to transform the world-famous square for the benefit of Londoners and visitors to the capital. The north side of the square is being pedestrianised to link it to the National Gallery for the first time and improve access. A new central staircase and lifts providing wheelchair access will make it easier to reach the heart of Trafalgar Square.
