Jason Hawkes is one of the leading photographers who’ll be at the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) in London this Sunday, October 2nd, at Wild Day, part of the Travel Photographer of the Year Festival of Photography & Travel. At the event, renowned photographers will showcase some of their finest work, and give some clues to how they took these very special photographs.

In addition to Jason, Wild Day features landscape photographer David Noton, Timothy Allen (BBC Human Planet), adventure and polar expedition photographer Martin Hartley and wildlife photographer Craig Churchill. And on October 16th, the TPOTY Festival concludes with People & Cultures Day, where another group of well-known photographers, including Eamonn McCabe and Steve Bloom, show how they take their memorable images, while Dale Templar, series producer of Human Planet talks about how this magnificent programme was made. Both days will also include panel discussions on photography and a photographic advice centre. Tickets cost £55 per day or £40 for students.
